Commenting on the sudden closure of E2 Welsh International Climbing and Activity Centre in Trelewis, Mike German, local Assembly Member said:

"It is very sad that the climbing centre in Trelewis has had to close. The E2 Welsh International Climbing and Activity Centre was a focal point for climbers for many people in South Wales

"I will be asking the Minister for Economy what he will be doing to help the 18 people who have lost their job and how the Minister will ensure that the building will be put into good use to benefit the people of the surrounding area."
